Flower Types
Each flower we work with behaves differently on a string, so this section lets you shop by the bloom rather than by the finished piece. Marigold (genda) is hardy and bright, the usual choice for toran, stage strings and puja. Tuberose (rajnigandha) carries a strong evening scent and keeps its white colour well in garlands. Jasmine and mogra are the classic choice for gajra and kangan.
Roses give the deep red of a bridal varmala, while chrysanthemum (shewanti), oleander (arali), carnations and vadamalli add colour and texture between them. Use the sub-sections to see every product built around one flower, then compare lengths and styles.
Supply follows the season and the market, so a flower can be scarce for a few weeks. When that happens we substitute like for like and tell you what changed.

Flower Types in Dubai – questions & answers
Which flower lasts longest once it is strung?
Marigold and chrysanthemum hold up best and stay presentable through a long day outdoors. Tuberose and roses last well through an evening function. Jasmine is the most delicate and is at its best within the first several hours, which is why we string it on the delivery day.
Which flower has the strongest fragrance?
Jasmine (mogra) and tuberose (rajnigandha) are the two most fragrant flowers we use, and their scent gets stronger towards evening. Roses have a softer scent, while marigold, chrysanthemum and oleander are chosen mainly for colour.
Are particular flowers preferred for pujas and temple visits?
Marigold, jasmine, red oleander (arali) and vadamalli are the flowers most families ask for when offering at a temple or setting up a home puja. Roses and tuberose are common too. If your tradition calls for a specific flower, add it to the order note.
Do you deliver flower types the same day?
Yes. Order by 6 PM (UAE time) for same-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, seven days a week; delivery to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain is next day. You choose the delivery date and a time slot at checkout.
Can I add a message card?
Yes. Write your card message at checkout – we print it and attach it to the flowers.
