Sehra
The sehra is the curtain of flowers a groom wears from his turban or pagri, falling over the face until the ceremony. It is part of Indian and Pakistani wedding custom, tied on at home before the baraat sets out, and is one of the most photographed pieces of the day.
We make full sehra, where strings of jasmine, roses and other fragrant blooms cover the whole face, and half sehra, which falls to the sides and leaves the face more open, often finished with jasmine and gypsophila. Some designs are also worn by brides who choose a flower veil.
A sehra takes time to string, so it is one of the larger items in our range. Each is made by hand in Deira on the delivery morning so the flowers stay full through the baraat.

Sehra in Dubai – questions & answers
What is the difference between a full sehra and a half sehra?
A full sehra has strings all around and covers the groom's face completely. A half sehra hangs mainly at the sides and back, so the face stays visible in photos and it is lighter to wear. Designs are priced from AED 179.
How is a sehra attached to the turban?
It has a band or loops at the top that tie around the turban or pagri, usually done by a family member just before the baraat. If the groom will not wear a turban, tell us and we can adjust the band to fit a cap.
When should a sehra be delivered?
Book a time slot that reaches you an hour or two before the groom dresses. Keep it in its box in a cool room, not in a fridge with food, and lift it out by the band to avoid tangling the strings.
Do you deliver sehra the same day?
Yes. Order by 6 PM (UAE time) for same-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, seven days a week; delivery to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain is on request. You choose the delivery date and a time slot at checkout.
How fresh are the flowers?
Flowers arrive at our Deira workshop before sunrise; every haar, gajra and kangan is strung on the day of delivery.
Can I order for a wedding or puja date in advance?
Yes – pick any date up to two weeks ahead at checkout. Changes are possible until 2:30 PM UAE time the day before delivery. For large or matching-pair orders, message us on WhatsApp +971 50 586 1001.
How much does delivery cost?
In Dubai delivery costs AED 19–59 depending on the order value. The exact fee for your emirate is shown at checkout before you pay.
