Gajra is the general name for fresh flowers worn in the hair: a ring of jasmine around a bun, a half-moon across the back of the head, or a strand tucked behind a plait. It is worn by brides, by guests at a mehndi or pooja, and by many women simply for a family function or a temple visit.

This section gathers every hair piece we make. You will find plain jasmine gajra, jasmine with roses or baby roses, a 50 cm rose petal gajra for a bun or low knot, and longer 30-inch jasmine and rose petal strings that work as a choti down the braid.

Jasmine is at its most fragrant on the evening it is strung, which is why we make every gajra on the morning of delivery rather than the day before.

Which gajra suits a bun and which suits a braid?

For a bun or low knot, choose a round jasmine gajra or the 50 cm rose petal gajra and wrap it once or twice. For a braid, the 30-inch jasmine and rose petal string runs down its length. Hair pieces are priced from AED 20.

How long will a jasmine gajra stay fresh in the hair?

It stays fresh and fragrant through an evening function. The buds open more as the day warms, so the scent is strongest at night. To keep it until the next day, wrap it in damp tissue in a sealed box in the fridge.

Can a gajra match my kangan and garland?

Yes. Choose the same flower mix, such as jasmine with red roses, across your gajra, kangan and haar, or add a note naming the other items so we tie them from the same flowers. Matching pieces are especially noticeable on the bride in close-up photographs.

Do you deliver gajra for hair the same day?

Yes. Order by 6 PM (UAE time) for same-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, seven days a week; delivery to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain is next day. You choose the delivery date and a time slot at checkout.

How fresh are the flowers?

Flowers arrive at our Deira workshop before sunrise; every haar, gajra and kangan is strung on the day of delivery.

Can I order for a wedding or puja date in advance?

Yes – pick any date up to two weeks ahead at checkout. Changes are possible until 2:30 PM UAE time the day before delivery. For large or matching-pair orders, message us on WhatsApp +971 50 586 1001.

How much does delivery cost?

In Dubai delivery costs AED 19–59 depending on the order value. The exact fee for your emirate is shown at checkout before you pay.
