Baddi

A baddi is a long string of fresh flowers worn by the bride, draped across the body or over the shoulders and sometimes started at the forehead. It frames the outfit rather than covering it, which makes it a favourite for the mehndi, nikah and reception photographs.

Our baddi are strung from white tuberose with baby roses, either in pink or in red, so the long white lines carry a touch of colour along their length. Tuberose is used because it keeps its shape over a long string and carries a strong scent into the evening.

Pair a baddi with a matching haar, kangan and gajra for a complete bridal look. It is hand-strung at our Deira workshop on the day of delivery. For other colours or a longer drop, write to us before ordering.

Baddi in Dubai – questions & answers

How is a baddi worn?

Most brides wear it draped over both shoulders so the strings fall down the front of the outfit, or across the body from one shoulder. Some start it at the forehead with a tikka. A family member or the stylist usually pins it to the dupatta.

Which colour baddi should I choose?

White tuberose with pink baby roses suits pastel and pink outfits; tuberose with red baby roses suits red and maroon bridal wear. Designs are priced from AED 235. If your outfit has gold or ivory tones, mention it and we will balance the rose shade.

Can the baddi match my other bridal flowers?

Yes. Order the haar, kangan and gajra in the same tuberose and rose combination, or mention the baddi in the note on those items, and we will string the whole set together from one batch of flowers.

Do you deliver baddi the same day?

Yes. Order by 6 PM (UAE time) for same-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, seven days a week; delivery to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain is next day. You choose the delivery date and a time slot at checkout.

How fresh are the flowers?

Flowers arrive at our Deira workshop before sunrise; every haar, gajra and kangan is strung on the day of delivery.

Can I order for a wedding or puja date in advance?

Yes – pick any date up to two weeks ahead at checkout. Changes are possible until 2:30 PM UAE time the day before delivery. For large or matching-pair orders, message us on WhatsApp +971 50 586 1001.

How much does delivery cost?

In Dubai delivery costs AED 19–59 depending on the order value. The exact fee for your emirate is shown at checkout before you pay.
