Orchids
Orchids came into South-Asian garland work from Thailand and Sri Lanka, where small purple dendrobium sprays have long been strung for temple offerings and for welcoming guests at the door. They are light, last well out of water and keep their colour in air-conditioned halls, which is why they are now asked for at receptions in Dubai.
The selection here is small and specific: an 18-inch garland of purple orchids that suits a guest of honour, a graduation or an airport welcome; a 30-inch carnation-and-orchid haar for wedding functions; and jasmine kangan bracelets set with orchid florets, sold as a pair for the wrists. Each is threaded in Deira on the morning it goes out.
Orchid has almost no scent, so it is a gentle choice for someone receiving a garland in a crowded arrival hall, and it pairs naturally with white jasmine when a little fragrance is wanted.

Orchids in Dubai – questions & answers
Is an orchid garland suitable for an airport welcome?
Yes, it is one of the best choices for it. An orchid garland is light, has almost no scent and keeps its shape while you wait at arrivals. The 18-inch length sits comfortably over a travel outfit. Order for the day of the flight and give the arrival time in the order notes.
How long do orchid florets stay fresh once strung?
Orchid florets are among the longest-lasting flowers we thread. In air-conditioning a garland usually looks fresh through the evening and often into the next day. Keep it in its box in the fridge before use and avoid direct sun, which fades the purple faster than heat does.
Can I get orchid garlands in other colours?
The orchids we string are mainly purple, as these are the sprays reliably available at the morning market. White or other shades can sometimes be sourced for wedding orders placed a few days ahead. Ask on WhatsApp; if a colour is not available we will suggest a like-for-like alternative.
Do you deliver orchids the same day?
Yes. Order by 6 PM (UAE time) for same-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, seven days a week; delivery to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain is next day. You choose the delivery date and a time slot at checkout.
Can I add a message card?
Yes. Write your card message at checkout – we print it and attach it to the flowers.
Which areas do you deliver to?
All seven UAE emirates: Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman same day when you order by 6 PM; Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain next day.
How much does delivery cost?
In Dubai delivery costs AED 19–59 depending on the order value. The exact fee for your emirate is shown at checkout before you pay.
