A flower shawl, also called a floral dupatta or chaddar, is a sheet of fresh blooms woven on a net base and laid over the bride's head and shoulders. It is held over her as she walks in for the nikah or worn at the mehndi, and similar chaddar are offered at dargahs and shrines.
Most of our shawls are 6 by 1 feet, made mainly of white jasmine and finished with red button roses, marigold, orchids or a coloured border. Larger sizes such as 72 by 30 inches give a wider canopy carried by four people, and a slimmer 90 by 15.6 inch dupatta suits draping.
A shawl takes several hours of hand-weaving, so it is made in Deira on the delivery day and boxed flat. For a custom size or colour, contact us before ordering so we can plan the flowers.

At many Pakistani and Indian Muslim weddings, four relatives hold the shawl over the bride like a canopy as she walks in. At the mehndi it may be draped over her head and shoulders like a dupatta. It is also offered as a chaddar at shrines.

The 6 by 1 feet size drapes over the head and shoulders. For a canopy held by four people over the bride, choose the 72 by 30 inch chaddar. Shawls are priced from AED 549.
Is the shawl heavy to wear?
Jasmine is light, but a full 6-foot shawl still has some weight, so it is usually worn for the entry and photographs rather than all evening. Lift it by the base or edges, not the flowers, to keep the pattern intact.
Do you deliver shawl the same day?
Yes. Order by 6 PM (UAE time) for same-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, seven days a week; delivery to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain is next day. You choose the delivery date and a time slot at checkout.
How fresh are the flowers?
Flowers arrive at our Deira workshop before sunrise; every haar, gajra and kangan is strung on the day of delivery.
Can I order for a wedding or puja date in advance?

How much does delivery cost?
