Choti
A choti is a string of fresh flowers worked along the length of a braid, from the nape of the neck down to the tip. It is a classic bridal and festival hairstyle in South India and across the subcontinent, worn at weddings, Onam, Varamahalakshmi and temple functions.
Our choti are made from jasmine buds, sometimes mixed with red or pink rose petals or baby roses for colour. The longest style is a 30-inch jasmine and rose petal string, long enough to follow a full bridal braid; shorter ones suit a simple plait or a child.
Jasmine is strung on the morning of delivery so the buds open on the day and release their scent while worn. Keep the choti cool in its box until the hair is done.

What is the difference between a choti and a gajra?
A gajra is usually wrapped around a bun or pinned across the back of the head, while a choti runs down the full length of a braid. Many brides wear both: a gajra at the top and a choti flowing down from it.
How long should a choti be?
Measure the braid from the nape to where you want the flowers to stop. The 30-inch style suits a full bridal braid; for a shoulder-length plait a shorter one is enough. Choti here are priced from AED 20.
How is a choti attached to the braid?
The stylist pins the top under the hair at the nape with U-pins or bobby pins, then lays the string along the braid and secures it every few centimetres. Pin it after the hair is set so the jasmine is not crushed.
Do you deliver choti the same day?
Yes. Order by 6 PM (UAE time) for same-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, seven days a week; delivery to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain is next day. You choose the delivery date and a time slot at checkout.
How fresh are the flowers?
Flowers arrive at our Deira workshop before sunrise; every haar, gajra and kangan is strung on the day of delivery.
Can I order for a wedding or puja date in advance?

How much does delivery cost?
